Buying Local |
|
| |
Using local products wherever possible has been our philosophy since we purchased and reopened The Kitchen Witch in 2007.
Prince Edward Island offers a wide variety of locally grown and produced foods; we take advantage of these at every opportunity. Established favourites include our Cheeselady Gouda Panini and PEI Baked Potato Pizza.
Our menus abound with the red PEI map icon which denotes locally sourced items. As local veggies come into season we utilise them in limited batches of hearty soups. Additionally we prepare our own jams and pickles using fruit and vegetables grown right here on our island.
